On January 26, 2007, our school was invited to the opening of the Virginia History Wax Museum. The museum featured various historical figures (also
known as Ms. Robbins' 4th grade Virginia History students) as they portrayed icons such as: Robert E. Lee, James Madison, Abraham Lincoln, Harriet Tubman,
Thomas Jackson, Nat Turner, George Mason, Patrick Henry, John Brown, and Ulysses S. Grant.
The students dressed in period attire and recited facts about who they were portraying
as their "on" and "off" buttons were pressed. Ms.
Robbins and her student's did a wonderful job! |
