Kindergarten
Stephanie Foster Wilder received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early/Primary Education (PreK-3) from the University of Virginia at Wise in May 1994. She received a Master of Education Degree in Administration & Supervision (PreK-12) from Lincoln Memorial University in May 1999. She received a second Master of Education Degree as a Reading Specialist (PreK-12) from Emory and Henry College in July 2006. She has taught for 15 years in the Lee County School System. She began her career at Flatwoods Elementary. She also worked at Ewing Elementary before joining the staff here at Rose Hill Elementary in 1998.

Kindergarten
Mrs. Brook Welch graduated from Lincoln Memorial University with a BA in Elementary Education during the spring of 2007. She started working at Rose Hill Elementary in the fall of 2007

1st grade
Mrs. Karen McLain is First Grade teacher at Rose Hill Elementary School. She received her Bachelor degree from Lincoln Memorial University in 2000. She graduated from Emory and Henry College in 2005 with her Masters’ degree. She is a Reading Specialist. This will be her tenth year of teaching.

1st grade
Mrs. Christy Ayers received her bachelor’s degree from Tusculum College in Business Management and an elementary education add on from Lincoln Memorial University. She completed her Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University in 2007. She joined the staff of Rose Hill Elementary in August of 2004. She has been teaching 1st grade all four years.

2nd grade
Ms. Janie McDavid Mrs. Janie McDavid received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from UVA at Wise in 1984. She began her teaching career with Lee County Public Schools in the fall of 1989. She has taught at Rose Hill Elementary for all of her teaching career.

2nd grade
Mrs. Melissa Allen received her Master's Degree from Lincoln Memorial University in May, 2007. She joined the staff at Rose Hill Elementary in August, 2005.
