Special EventsThe JROTC program provides many special events for their cadets to participate in. These events include a 7 day summer camp, overnight camping at the White Rocks, dirll meets, competitions, rope and compass courses, service learning and community service projects, and much more. |

Rifle TeamThe Army JROTC Rifle Team consists of cadets that wish to try their shooting skills against the teams of other schools and against JROTC and NRA qualification standards. The JROTC Rifle Team members fire Daisy 853' .177 caliber air rifles with single pump action. Team members can compete individually or as a four person team. Medals and ribbons can be earned based on the marksmanship skills developed by the cadets. |

Adventure TeamThe Army JROTC adventure team focuses mainly on physical fitness and mountaineering skills. Cadets will learn how to build a one rope bridge, tie knots, run obstacle courses, read a map, perform basic first aid and work close a team. The Adventure team competes against other JROTC teams at Pine Mountain competitions. |

Drill TeamThe Army JROTC drill team is a marching unit that performs military style maneuvers in parades and JROTC competitions. The drill team may compete as an unarmed squad or armed squad |

Color GuardThe Army JROTC Color Guard is a guard of honor that carries and escorts the flags of our country, state, army, and unit. In JROTC it usually consists of one noncommissioned bearing the national colors and another bearing the state colors, flanked by two armed enlisted cadets. The TWHS Color Guard carries the colors at official functions, JROTC competitions, football and basketball games and other important events. |
