Mr. Johnson received his B.S. in Social Science from Tusculum College in 1999. | Mr. Johnson began his teaching career at Abingdon High School where he remained from 1999-2002. He then taught at Patrick Henry High School from 2002-2009. Mr. Johnson joined the TWHS staff in 2009. | |

Miss Sturgill received her Associated in Education and Certificate in Educational Interpreter in 2004 from Mountain Empire Community College. She graduated from The University of Virginia's College at Wise in 2009 with her Bachelor of Arts with a Special Education Certification with History as a concentration. | Miss. Sturgill began her teaching career at Lee High School from Jan.2009-June 2009. She joined the TWHS staff in August of 2009. | |

Debbie Patterson received her Bachelors of Arts Degree in 1995 at Lincoln Memorial University in Elementary Education. She earned her Masters Degree as a Reading and Writing specialist at Union College in 2002. Currently, she is pursuing a degree at Union College as an Educational Specialist in K-12 Special Education. | Mrs. Patterson joined the staff at Thomas Walker in the Fall of 2008. Previously, she taught for one year in the Claiborne County School System as a reading specialist at Springdale Elementary School. Also, she taught four years in the Bell County School System as a fifth and sixth grade reading and computer teacher at Bell Central Elementary School and she taught sixth, seventh, and eighth grade writing classes as well as the seventh grade writing portfolios at Yellow Creek Elementary School. | |
