Open House

Lee High had its first open house on October 15, from 6:00 until 8:30. Our FBLA set up a table at the entrance to welcome students and parents. Members brought finger foods and hot apple cider to be served while giving visitors an opportunity to learn more about the club and the benefits of becoming a member.

Snow spoiled the events planned for FBLA week, but we hope to carry the ideas over for next year's FBLA week and add more fun activities to be enjoyed by all members and staff. The following are the events that will be continued:

  • Breakfast will be served to all teachers and staff. Members will set up a cart of juice, coffee, and doughnuts on each floor and building to show appreciation to the teachers for all their dedication and hard work.
  • Gold ribbons will be sold for $1.00 each to be hung on the wall of Good Samaritans with the name of the donor taped on the ribbon. All proceeds will benefit the March of Dimes.
  • Dress for Success Day will consist of students dressing in business attire as they make their way to each of their classes.
  • FBLA Spirit Day will show the members and advisers' pride in the FBLA by dressing in FBLA shirts and putting up posters about the club throughout the school.
