Vision and Mission Statements
Vision
The vision of Jonesville Middle School is to provide a safe,
positive, nurturing and supportive learning environment for
all students by incorporating differentiated tiered
instruction and strategies driven by multiple measures of
data while involving all stakeholders. The student’s growth
physically, emotionally, socially, and academically is
highly expected from year to year while meeting the
standards set forth by the Virginia Department of Education,
the Lee County School Board
and Jonesville Middle School.
Mission
The mission of Jonesville Middle School is to implement a
rigorous State Standard Driven Curriculum, protecting and
extending instructional time to maximize student’s potential
while providing a positive, nurturing, and safe learning
environment which allows each student ample opportunities to
develop the skills necessary to become a successful,
responsible, productive, life-long learner in a
technological
diverse global society today and in the future.
