THE GENERAL STORE
The General Store is an actual store ran by the marketing students. Students gain valuable retail experience using a POS cash register system. Students gain training in counting money, handling, cash payments, customer service, operating POS system, selling, inventory control, stocking, pricing, advertising, team, work, purchasing, scheduling, and management. Some students work in the General Store as part of their co-op experience.
