ELYDALE ELEMENTARY

“A Great Place to Learn”

Elydale Elementary is the western most school in Lee County and the state of Virginia. We are located near the Wilderness Road State Park and Cumberland Gap National Historical Park. Kentucky borders us to the north and west and Tennessee borders us to the south. The historical Wilderness Road passes in front of our school on its way to the Cumberland Gap, passageway for the pioneers into "Caintuck." We are very fortunate to live in such a history enriched environment. 

Our school has grades five through seven and was built in 1954. We are very excited to be working with the children in this area and strive to help them progress academically, socially, emotionally, and physically each year.
